A one of a kind cushion made from vintage, Indian Kantha quilts.
Kantha is a type of embroidery in India. Old textiles, including saris and other clothing, are stacked on each other and handstitched together to make a quilt. The 'kantha stitch' is similar to a running stitch. We have hand selected each vintage quilt (sometimes they're more than 50 years old) and our team in Delhi has made these one-of-a-kind cushions from them. The circumference of the round cushions have cotton tassles. Each cushion has a hidden zipper at the back and comes with its own custom made feather insert.
