The Monarch Dress, named after the old pub in Moruya where the paint work is similar to the stripes and checks in the dresses.
The Monarch Dress is a simple and comfortable A-line dress cut on the cross for extra give. Suitable for wearing with a shirt or Tshirt underneath as a pinafore or on its own on a hot day.
Made in various fabrics including candy-coloured diagonal striped linen, or cotton seersucker check or gingham. And side seam pockets, of course, make this dress perfect for happy, carefree days.
The dress has a shaped bodice band with a back elastic portion for comfort and easy movement. The banded hemline offsets the diagonal stripe and has side seam splits also.
