Galicha Kantha Jacket: Size LARGE

These one-of-a-kind jackets are made from a rare and unusual textile handmade in Bangladesh circa mid 20th Century or before, called Galicha Kantha. The amazing needlework in cross-stitch embroidery is highly skilled with an elaborate geometric lattice design. The colours are soft and faded and have imperfections that give the textile loads of character.

Our talented team in India have sourced these hard to find quilts and made them into a jacket that we have designed here in Moruya, Australia. There are a total of 12 jackets made in 4 sizes so you won't see these anywhere else in Australia. The jacket style is versatile and looks wonderful with jeans, the more holes the better!
