Every year, in her Marrickville studio in Sydney, she creates twelve new birds for her calendar. These birds are made from discarded lino prints and paper she has painted. She stores the paper in plastic folders, according to colour, as you can imagine, every piece of paper is precious.
Each piece of collaged paper has been meticulously cut and layered, and has been scanned at a high resolution to capture the subtle textures of collage. Now in its tenth year, the 2025 Australian Bird Calendar is now available.
Twelve new Australian bird designs, size A4, spiral bound, with a hanger . Perfect gift for a twitcher friend or a relative living overseas. The calendar is created and printed on 100% recycled paper and printed locally in Sydney.
