Janna Ferris is an Australian ceramicist who began training with Fran Ifould in 1978 before establishing her first workshop in Longueville, NSW. She completed a Diploma in Ceramics at East Sydney Technical College in 1982 and became known for her earthenware tableware, decorated with underglaze stains and patterns influenced by traditional china and garden imagery.
In the 1990s she worked from the Ross Street Potters’ Workshop in Glebe, collaborating with Ivan Gluch on commissions, and later relocated to Tanja on the far south coast of NSW, where she now produces woodfired ceramics.

Due to the handmade nature, all ceramics differ slightly in appearance and shape.
