To create a much needed \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/pipmagazine.com.au\/shop\/print-subscription\/\"\u003eAustralian permaculture and sustainability magazine\u003c\/a\u003e. There was an English one and an American one, but nothing for Australia or the southern hemisphere.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-block-type=\"core\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"\u003eBeing seven months pregnant and already having two small children meant she had to keep her ideas in the planning stage for a while. Two and a half years later, \u003cem\u003ePip\u003c\/em\u003e was launched into the world.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-block-type=\"core\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cem\u003ePip \u003c\/em\u003eMagazine\u003c\/strong\u003e was originally funded through a crowdfunding campaign. Enough money was raised to pay for the first print run and that meant \u003cem\u003ePip\u003c\/em\u003e could become a reality without starting in debt. Pledges came in from around the country from people who were excited about the idea of a magazine that would speak about the things they cared about. Many of those initial pledgers are still subscribing today.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-block-type=\"core\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"\u003e\u003cem\u003ePip\u003c\/em\u003e Magazine is published out of \u003cem\u003ePip\u003c\/em\u003e HQ which is a converted barn on Robyn’s property. Robyn manages \u003cem\u003ePip\u003c\/em\u003e with a small team and fits it in between, raising kids, growing food and some obligatory surfing to keep mind and body functioning.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" data-block-type=\"core\"\u003eThe Magazine\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-c22317b\" data-block-id=\"c22317b\"\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"stk-block-text__text\"\u003eThe aim of \u003cem\u003ePip\u003c\/em\u003e Magazine is to share ideas, information and inspiration about living more sustainably using permaculture principles. A visually beautiful publication, our gorgeous illustrations and photography inspire people to pick up a copy, and while flicking through it will find something that inspires them to make positive changes in their lives.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" data-block-type=\"core\"\u003eThe articles are practical, clear and accessible; you don’t need to have extensive knowledge about permaculture or sustainability to get something out of it.
